RAINBOW  RAILROAD

The Rainbow Railroad project was a collaborative charitable kiosk design. Rainbow Railroad is a small Canadian charitable organization, whose mission is to help members of the LGBTQ+ community to escape state-sponsored persecution and violence inflicted upon them as a result of their identities (Rainbow Railroad, n.d.). The proposed kiosk design is a sculptural bench seating installation. The form is inspired by the transitory nature of Rainbow Railroad’s work and their position as the turning point in the lives of the persons they help.
